Interests?

Uhhm overall I think this will be a boring post, because I'm supposed to tell about what I am interested in.... I really like to socialize... I have recently discovered that I actually ENJOY playing the piano, which is interesting because for the past 10 years I have hated it and resented my parents for making me take it. But actually it's quite nice to be able to play; mastering complicated songs is quite exhilarating, and it makes me feel proud of myself.

Hm, reflection time... Well the past two weeks have been actually really great, at least this week has. I have been almost continually smiling and happy since Thursday, which is a great improvement in my life, because to be honest I haven't really been the happiest person ever. But yeah... My life has really turned around since you came into it (:

Fall in love or learn to love?

I think that it is better to fall in love than to learn to love. Sometimes it is possible to learn to love, but falling in love is much happier, because from the start you want to be with that person, and your love can grow, whereas if you are forced together and have to learn to love each other, it isn't as nice as being able to fall in love, against your control. It's hard to explain for a blog... :P

Reflection

My last two weeks have not been going too well. I broke up with my boyfriend, and people decided to spread cruel rumors about me. BUT, my friends have been great and I'm pretty sure I've sorted all this out. My parents also grounded me, but I'm still allowed to use the house phone so it's alright. School's going pretty good, my classes are fairly easy. Biology's kinda hard. Not alot more than that has happened.

MUSIC

My favorite genre of music is screamo. I really like loud music like metal and rock. I hate pretty much all country music and rap. I have lots of favorite bands, but I'd have to say my top favorites are System of a Down, Linkin Park, and Slipknot. I like music with meaningful lyrics, not just mindless junk. System of a Down has a really unique sound, especially the singer, Serj Tankian. Anything loud with screaming I'll probably like (: I'll post a playlist (sorry some songs may contain bad language)

Technology

I think that the biggest technological innovation of our time is the cell phone. It makes communication much easier between people, and the texting feature on most cell phones makes it simple to get a hold of people if you need to have quick conversations. Also sometimes it is inconvenient to call someone- like if you are in a meeting or somewhere where you would be unable to talk, so texting helps there. Before cell phones getting hold of people was a problem- if they weren't at home then they often couldn't be reached. Parents couldn't always let their children go out by themselves because if they couldn't reach them they didn't know if their kids were safe. Cell phones help in emergencies so you can reach people quickly if you aren't near any land lines. I think that cell phones have changed people's lives because they can do things they couldn't have before and they can stay in contact with people that they need to at all times. Keeping in contact with your children is always good, you can make plans with friends and family members. Also on many phones there are features such as calendars, diaries, calculators, etc., things that can really help if you're out and need them. On new phones such as the iPhone there are great things like Google Maps, which can be very helpful if you are out of the house. Overall I think the cell phone has made a huge impact on modern society and I think it has been a change for the better.

Favorite Place

My favorite place that I have been in America is probably when I stayed in Hood River, Oregon. We had the prettiest little house, and a whole bunch of land. There was a pond right next to the house and there were baby ducklings in it! There were weeping willows and it was overall a very beautiful spot. I didn't like it that my parents made me go hiking every day though >_> Haha but besides that it was a really great place.
